Number 1 Question asked: How do I know whether or not my marketing is working?
Suggestion: Know your customer! If you don't know who you're trying to reach and don't go after your target consumer, then you won't see the results you're expecting to see. The 80/20 rule states: 80% of your business comes from 20% of your customers. You need to go after that 20%.
