The judge in the Casey Anthony trial is being asked to let Casey's parents, Cindy and George Anthony, watch the proceedings even though they are key witnesses.

The request is based on the argument that they are relatives of the victim, their 2-year-old granddaughter Caylee, and they also support their daughter, who is on trial.

Orlando attorney Sherri DeWitt says she cannot see the judge allowing it.

"Although [Casey] may want them in there for support, I think that the truth and veracity and integrity of the proceedings is more important than that," said DeWitt. "The whole idea is that you don't want a witness' testimony tainted or influenced by what they hear as prior testimony."

Judge Belvin Perry turned down several defense motions Tuesday allowing a jury to hear about cadaver dogs that hit in Casey's car, about a strand of hair recovered from the car that appears to have come from Caylee and about glue residue found with her remains that may have come from a heart-shaped sticker, identical to those found in the Anthony home.
