ORANGE CO., Fla. —
Orange County deputies are searching for a suspect after a man was found stabbed several times in a Dr. Phillips neighborhood Friday morning.
Investigators blocked the area inside the Brentwood Club subdivision off Kenmure Cove for nearly 14 hours with crime scene tape.
Resident Tim Buckley told Channel Nine Eyewitness News that he got an email from the homeowners association saying the stabbing was an isolated incident.
“It’s a little unsettling,” Buckley said.
Witnesses told WDBO that a man was stabbed, either in a car or garage. That car later crashed into a pole at the end of Kenmure Cove.
“Not what you expect in this neighborhood, this side of Orange County,” Buckley said.
Two cars were towed away from the crime scene as evidence.
The victim, who is described in his 20s, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
No word on a suspect at this time.
